A while back I found myself in the hospital for 4 days. Weekend hospital stays are frustrating because the doctors are mostly interns just holding the place together till Monday. I had settled into my room only to find that my slick, state of the art wheelchair wouldn't fit in the bathroom! Not feeling well enough to fuss, a commode was brought and placed conveniently at the foot of the bed. Over the next few days I had countless lessons in humility as I discovered commodes and rolls of toilet paper naturally repel each other. I thought the toilet paper would be happy on the closed commode lid. But no, it seemed only content on the night stand, six feet away from it's partner - the commode. The hospital staff seemed to understand this on again - off again relationship too, because every chance they had - the roll was moved to the night stand.

After the 3rd day I called my hero/husband, Kevin, and said don't worry about bringing me chocolate. What I really need is two straps with sewn hook and loop, a piece of dowel and some small screws. Two hours later the hospital staff were commenting on the first TP Buddy and the rest is toiletry history. If you are in a heath-care facility, at home needing a portable bathroom or in the great outdoors camping - you and your toilet paper need never be separated again.

Life is hard, if the TP Buddy makes life easier, that is good. Sandra
