I was tooling around the house one Monday morning. It had been a busy weekend and everywhere there were things out of place or had ended up in the wrong room. My lap was full of 'stuff' and I was a multi-tasking maniac on a mission trying to organize our living space. With both hands on the wheelchair and a lap full of shifting objects, I was dropping one thing after the other. I remember thinking if I parked the wheelchair and used the walker with it's Walker Buddy basket the clean-up might take more time and effort, but at least things wouldn't keep sliding off my lap. I've had this conversation with myself countless times.

But this time the ole Irish (lazy) and Norwegian (stubborn) genes kicked in and looking down at my lap I saw a perfect vision of the Lap Buddy. The same vinyl mesh as the Walker Buddy, it attaches with a wide belt around my waist and clips with an adjustable buckle. The Lap Buddy rests on my lap, opens when needed, and folds flat when empty. Now I am queen in a world of small unruly objects. Our older cat, Yar, im-mediately saw the Lap Buddy as a purrrfect way to extend her lap naps while I move about the house.
